Laurence Blackwell-Thale

<p>Laurence completed his parts I & II at the The Bartlett, where his work interrogated architectural notions of scale within the miniature and the gigantic, playing with tolerance and perception of objects that are not of a human size. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>He graduated with BSc first class Hons and a distinction in diploma. He won the Saint-Gobain prize for design technology and was awarded the Bartlett medal.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>He has worked at Ian Chalk Architects, Studio Pike and Haptic, has taught on the Bartlett summer school programme and designed work for Smout Allen’s exhibitions at the V&A, Royal Academy, and Welcome Collection.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Outside of the studio, Laurence spends lots of time in tents on hills, in the sea or on a bike.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>He joined Knox Bhavan in August 2018&nbsp;and is currently completing his RIBA Part III.</p>
