Emma Naylor

<p>Emma has recently qualified as an Architect from the Architectural Association. She completed her Master’s in Architecture at the Royal College of Art. Her final year project called ‘Enabling the Cycle’ was awarded the Global Disability Innovation Hub and Heart N Soul Award for Access by the Helen Hamlyn Centre. Her previous year project explored the materiality of Portland stone, and was awarded the Technical Studies Prize.<br><br>Emma’s work reflects her interests in engaging directly with people, materials, making and film. She has a particular interest in designing for disability and inclusive design.<br><br>Emma completed her undergraduate degree in Architecture from the University of Bath with First-class Honours in 2019. Whilst at Bath, Emma won the Oculus prize and Wilkinson Eyre prize for model making.&nbsp;<br><br>Emma has previously worked at Donald Insall Associates in Chester, specialising in conservation work, and has worked at Knox Bhavan throughout her architectural education, where she has led projects on site.&nbsp;<br><br>Outside of architecture, Emma is a keen hockey player, skier and cyclist who enjoys racing bikes in the summer.</p>
